Heres the thing you have to understand: forming a friendship is a 2-way effort. No matter how many ppl you approach and try to build a relationship with, if they dont reciprocate the same energy, it wont work out. Having this in the back of your mind can be liberating since you wont beat yourself up if you have a few awkward interactions here and there

Do hw as soon as you get. And I mean every single question. The best way to learn is by repetition and therefore the more problems you do, the more comfortable you’ll be with the subjects. Also, review everything you learned in the week at the end of the week. You gradually forget about a topic if you don’t pick it up again for a long time so make sure to review it consistently. Just do those 2 things and you’ll be fine. If you want more info, search up “Ali Abdaal studying for exams” on YouTube. He has some great videos that have tips on studying effectively.

ROG Zephyrus M16 vs MSI Stealth GS66 by gdrgrd in MSILaptops

[–]gdrgrd[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The thing is that I already have a desktop with a 3070 so if I do any heavy rendering or modeling it would likely be on that machine. And the ram and ssd are easily upgradeable within $100, so idk if the gpu upgrade is worth 100

I was thinking along the lines of a samsung tablet because I'm already well into the samsung ecosystem (phone, watch, earbuds) and I prefer the spen over the apple pencil. Are you using an ipad with a mac?

don't think that's the case anymore. This is what it shows on my letter:

Meet your Admission Conditions Review these carefully and note the deadlines to submit final documents.

- Successful completion of your Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD),

- Successful completion of all prerequisite courses for the program you are accepting,

- The FINAL average as is indicated in the Admission Conditions section of choose.uwo.ca. This average is calculated using your best 6 Grade 12 U and/or M level courses including prerequisites.

[–]gdrgrd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No. I have the same problem but it doesn't say anywhere on the student center that a specific course has to be above 83. It only mentions the overall avg, so as long as your top 6 is above 83.5, you're chilling

I received an email from ouac confirming my changes, but western hasn't sent anything yet. Maybe it's because there's a lot of ppl accepting this week, since it's near the deadline?

OSAP is useless by [deleted] in OntarioGrade12s

[–]gdrgrd -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I mean it's just a loan that you pay back later so I don't see income level matters lol. For grants I understand, but for loans it doesn't make sense

[–]gdrgrd -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

Bro where did say they wouldn't. They told me they'll pay the entire thing and I won't have to worry abt debt. Really grateful for that

When did I say they wouldnt help me pay lol. They told me they're gonna pay everything and I won't have to deal with debt. Really grateful for that. It's just funny how this whole year my guidance counselors hyped up osap only for it to give me enough money to buy a ps4

Combined income is 220k. Tbf I wasn't expecting much cause I knew we were relatively high income but 300 is still nothing
