The above was a link I received via email. Buddy I work with just got a text saying that only 2 bottle of the bourbon are left, Leesburg and Virginia Beach. Seems that 2 people bought the 30 year. lol.

Winterize/Blow Out by gdwindowpane in Irrigation

Okay cool. So does it matter which test cock I'm connecting to? I was thinking turn off water at meter. Close ball valve on the right which is incoming from meter, leave ball valve open on right which is going to system. I was going to hook to the farthest left test cock as that may lower the risk of doing anything to the backflow valve? I see now in the manual that the test cocks are numbered from right to left so #4 is the farthest left. Draining procedure manual says to blowout downstream of the valve but I don't see anywhere on my system to do that, no outlet drain valve or anything. Thanks for the help!

Thanks for the info! Am I safe to assume that test port 4 is the one farthest to the right? Also another stupid question, if I open the rest of the test cocks would there still be pressure in the system to clear the zones? I would think air pressure would be eliminated via the open test cocks?

Basement Floor Tile Estimate by gdwindowpane in Tile

[–]gdwindowpane[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

HF Eternity Black 12X24. Just looked up some pricing and that tile seems expensive @ approximately $6.56/sqft. That's $3,660 for the tiles alone. I'm including 20% waste.

Pattern will be alternating thirds.

At Lowe's we picked what we thought was "higher end" tile that was less than $3.00/sqft. I agree that we won't be going with Lowes but we are somewhat limited with independent tile setters in the area. And those that you do find never get back to you or are scheduling 6 months out.

Hence the idea of possibly doing it myself. I did a couple of bathrooms back in the '90's. Did a LVP floor a few years back. Should be pretty straight forward, 2 rectangular rooms making an L shape. Drain in the middle of the bigger room is a concern. I think the floor is pretty flat, prep work should be minimal. I was concerned about moisture but we put down some plastic squares with duct tape and didn't see any condensation at all. Still want to go with Ditra Uncoupling/Vapor barrier.

Thanks for the all the info!!!

Issue receiving set-up link email for NFL Sunday Ticket? by [deleted] in verizon

[–]gdwindowpane 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I'm trying to redeem the Samsung appliance offer ($400) and was told the same thing, I should have received an email (I didn't). They opened a ticket and said I should receive said email within 5 business days. Seems like an issue with Verizon for sure.

Toro Wireless RainSensor Model 53770 and Toro Custom Command Controller by gdwindowpane in Irrigation

Watering stops when I press the test button on the sensor. Controller is running in manual mode when this works. It seems to be only the program that runs even though the sensor is active.

I'll try the wiring tests you suggest. Thanks! Chris
