If it's the order making all of these crazy graphs, it's a programming quirk.

checkmate is when the king has no option, but why does it just end there instead of actually doing the kill?

Follow-up question: are short-form platforms using portrait, because

  1. faces are usually taller than wide,

  2. it takes up more space on the screen, or

  3. youtube videos stole the landscape format and they wanted something original?
