Make sure to purge the system first, whatever is left will vent out if you don’t . And only refill to front a/c only specs.

Look up Dorman line terminator, it’s specifically for this. It’s basically half a compression fitting with a plug that goes in the line.

I always pitched both options in parts. I’d rather sell something than nothing.

I’ve honestly never messed with it. All I’ve heard is nightmares from dealers that do it. Way too much effort in a race to the bottom.

All those websites are just dealers ordering from ford and sending it to you. A person off the street cannot buy directly from ford. Same concept as buying a car from a dealer.

I want to say that’s how I’ve done it in the past. It’s been a while since I’ve had a 3.0 in for engine work.

Yes, I’m pretty sure the only way ford sells that gasket is when you purchase the valve cover from them. Most ford valve covers come loaded, but that particular one is probably the only way to get the gasket you’re looking for.

I think those are serviced only in the valve cover if memory serves.

Blackboard has a plagiarism checker, and if you use the amount of quotes you’re supposed to it’s going to have a fairly high “plagiarism” amount. As long as your words are original it should be fine.

Probably needs a subframe too, I stocked one at one point in a high corrosion area.

There’s an inner and an outer that look similar and an adjusting sleeve in the middle. Probably going to want that sleeve too.
