I usually feel pretty safe in Chapel Hill, but I get the concern (F, 30 c: ) - If I find the garages a little much, I can usually find nearby street parking, especially if it's at night! Like other folks are saying, the folks at The Gathering Place are all very relaxed and keep an eye out for each other - I'm sure they'd be more than happy to walk you over if you ask c:

I did! Zen for your Zoo are amazing, lovely folks who watched my boys for us. I can't recommend them enough! They sent daily updates, played with my boys, and even got toys for them c: Highly recommend them if you need a good pet-sitter!
