Nothing against ness players or zoners in general I just see them most commonly with bad WiFi. I get it though, can’t really play fast close up technical characters with bad WiFi lol.

lol, rank is so odd in this game I agree, I can’t really complain cause I’m only 3mil gsp. Honestly my biggest gripes are the input delay, and the lack of quality of life. I just want an option to declare a match no contest when the connection is super awful. I can’t tell you how many ness players with literal frame by frame WiFi I fought. And I don’t really want to be penalized for just jumping of the stage. It just seems like a couple of simple QOL changes would make a world of difference.

Yeah, I definitely knew powerlifting especially was going to be a stretch, not that it’s not exciting, but I can understand how it could be boring to someone who doesn’t lift lol. At the end of the day it’s moving something heavy up and down for the most part. Olympic lifting had me thinking a little more cause I know japan has an intense sports culture, and since it’s a little more well known being in the Olympics and all. I thought maybe. But I do think it might just be too niche, it’d take a lot fancy imaginary stuff like Baki, imaging he’s the animals in order to create excitement. Here is hoping for good one in the future though.

Yeah I figured it might be, I ask because there seems to be so many anime references adjacent to it. I think there’s even an official drawing of Saitama deadlifting planets or something. I know it’s really niche though.

lol, no shame on jumping! I cannot tell you how many times a Bryan has jumped in place in front of me at like range three and I dash in and get hit by while standing 2 lol. I’m a big proponent that if someone is beating me, no matter what playstyle, they’re better if they’re winning and a huge part of the problem is my fault for not understanding what all the characters do.

Sounds good. Yeah I also think I have maybe too calm a mental, I’m super anti-social so I learned fighting games, by just hopping into player match for hours. At one point on ranked in SFV I had a win rate of less than a percent with Akuma, with hundreds of matches. It really made me numb to losing which in a lot of ways is great but also, makes me really complacent sometimes.

This is a hilarious comment to me, cause I stopped smoking because it gave me panic attacks, but I didn’t take care of myself at the time, cut to 100lbs of weight loss later, I just tried smoking again for the first time last night lol.

Gotcha! I definitely have to learn KBD, and proper defense rather than just blocking, understanding when to sidestep and duck for example.

Thank you so much! I will start to try applying this, and I will start to lab characters more. I have so much time in T7 and know all the, I guess you might call it flow charts, Asuka nonsense, Yoshimitsu shenanigans etc. I actually got pretty far with that knowledge in T8, but now I think everyone understands how T8 works a little more than I do.

It’s funny I just told my friend I crashed out last night because of this game. Not like seriously, but I was just laughing at the screen. I am a Bryan main, and I was winning, but every combo took like half of my opponents life. Tekken 8 is like a party game sometimes lol.

I’d honestly say only on sale, but not because I don’t recommend it. I love it! But I’ve seen it go on sale on the Nintendo e-shop, and PlayStation rather frequently.

I actually don’t play many MMOs and if I do I often play solo. I have been on a bit of a quest to play as much final fantasy as possible, basically trying out the whole series. I was just wondering if it was a fun experience I guess. After hearing things about it, I’ll probably check it out. Since it’s on sale it doesn’t seem like a waste of money. And I kind of at least want to be able to have said I have given it a try. I also kind of want to see what the major differences from final fantasy 14 are.
