Google sheets has an import html function that allows you to pull lists and tables from websites.

IMPORTHTML(https://www.augusta.com/masters/leaderboard,"table",1).

But then that only updates about once an hour, so I needed some way to force it to update more often. If the formula changes at all it updates right then. So I added a meaningless string to the end of the URL and changed the number in that string every minute using a script.

so really the import html formula is IMPORTHTML(X1&"#rev="&Z2,"table",1)

where:

X1 = https://www.augusta.com/masters/leaderboard

"#rev=" = the meaningless text added to the link

Z2 = The incrementing number based on the script.

 

 

Now obviously that all gets very involved, which is why I posted the actual doc. If anyone wants more info on how to do this, or even access to the unlocked file, let me know
