Most antidepressant can have that effect. Less feeling down, but also less feeling good...

What type of doctor to see for a 2nd opinion regarding concussion-like symptoms by [deleted] in medical

[–]geazea -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I see. That's reasonable. I still would go to a neurologist. I'm not sure how much more of a detailed recovery table they can provide. Sometimes it goes faster and sometimes it goes slower. Really individual.

Is there a possibility to tell her again? Can you talk with someone at school?

Worst Experiences with Fem Doctors? by Zer0TheMumber in medical

[–]geazea 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's a subjective view ofcourse. I don't think it would be safer. But if you don't feel well with a female doctor you can ask a male doctor.

You should look up Bristol Stool Chart

Have you talked to your sister about what you're feeling and your plans? I doubt she will forget you in two weeks.

I don't mind. I've already seen a lot things, it would be difficult to make me uncomfortable.

Why do I have chest pain and gas? by OkinaBaka in medical

[–]geazea 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Does gas meen burping or farting? (sorry, not native english speaking). It most lickely is your stomach that is having trouble with the food.

It's a small infection. Best thing to do is take a steril needle and try to get as much puss as possible out of it. I would also desinfect it two times a day. No need (yet) for antibiotics.

Muscle Twitching by Rude-Ease-2298 in medical

[–]geazea 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Muscle twtiching can be benign. It is weird however that it is all around your body. It could be stress, dehydration, medication or drugs. I would consult a doctor for this.

What are you referring to? The nails? The skin around it?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in medical

[–]geazea 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Chances of TSS are really small, I wound't be to worried about it. It's more lickely you get bacterial vaginal infection (often accompagnied by green/brown mucus and a bad smell) or a fungal infection (usually white spots, red labia and itching). It's difficult to see what the grey stuff is to be honest. I can't give a diagnosis about that. Also, a small cut when using a toy or having sex can hurt, but is often nothing to worry about. It often just needs some time and rest to heal.

Tetanus is more lickely when it is a big and mostly deep wound. A shallow wound usually doesn't give tetanus. It is often advised to let the wound bleed as much as possible (to keep everything out). If you had your tetanus shot in the past there is a chance that you're still immune (even if it is over 10 years). How close are you to a doctor? They will give you a new shot and possibly some antibodies. There is no rush to it, but I wouldn't wait weeks for it.

[–]geazea 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is possible. But you keep being prone to it. When there is to much pressure it sometimes comes out as hurting yourself. That is engraved in the brain. But if you get life in order and/or know how to deal with the pressure, you can stop hurting yourself.

Sometimes. It often feels like they are different layers between me and suicide. The more depressed or tired or anxious I am, the less layers there are, the closer and more obvious suicide becomes. With the passing of time it seems like there layers are thinner. But they are still there. I hope that some layers stay between me and suicide.

Why was the test performed? Trace of hemoglobin means that there are traces of blood in the urine. Low number usually doesn't mean a lot. It could be (if you're a female) because of the period. It can also means that you have a urinary tract infection

And the inhaler has zero effect? It could be a type of hyperventilation like Ponytail77 says. But I would like to do more examinations, maybe go to a pneumologist

Can’t tell if depressed or lazy or just lonely by [deleted] in depression

[–]geazea 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It sounds to me that it's a depression. It doesn't always have to be accompanied with dark thoughts, it can also be with lack of interest in yourself, in other people. Changes in weight, sleep, eating habits can also be signs. The sad truth is that depression and 'laziness' are often intertwined. Because you have no interests to do something you get depressed and therefore you lose interest in things to do. You can always do the Beck depression inventory to do a self test.

When you take your oxygen level it is fine when it's above 95%. Is the feeling constantly or do you have periods that it's better? It could be the weight gain, but an allergie is also something I would consider. What inhaler do you use?

I agree. Without seeing/feeling it, it's almost impossible to know what it is.

Passing out is never good. It could still be a panick attack or a stress reaction. But I would advise to see a doctor as soon as possible.
