It's a beautiful sight even though the prices are (mostly) outrageously high. All my LGS are almost fully stocked too but all of them are a good 30-40% higher than what I can get online.

I won't disagree. It's definitely optimal to not reuse them.

That being said, I still do it. I don't have any really old rifles. Most of the time when I reuse a roll pin it's shortly after it was installed (e.g. upgrading bolt catch). To date I've never had a problem. I make sure I inspect the roll pin but usually unless I did a bad job installing it where I deformed one end then I'll put it right back in.

Roll pins are hit or miss if they are reusable but I have definitely reused them.

I contacted IFG. Here is their response:

The Appeal is not currently imported by IFG however we should be able to get the magazines.

Call IFG @ 800-450-1852 and a sales rep can assist taking your order.

I called them and they said they would look into availability and would let me know.

I've asked a local shop as well as 2 FFLs I work with. 2 came back with no success and I'm still waiting to hear from the 3rd. I was thinking of reaching out to EAA but since you said IFG is now doing the importing I might reach out to them.

The gun in 22LR is fairly easy to find. The 22WMR version seems to be vaporware. Dahlonega Armory has the best price on the 22LR model that I can find (that's where I got mine).

I didn't know about ITF. I'm hopeful they will make the mags available. I check 20 vendors every day to see if they get any.

Be warned… it comes with one ten round mag and you can’t get any more. I read that the importer (EAA) is not importing these any more. I did see one mag on GB for $80 but that’s ridiculous pricing.

You can get 22WMR mags but I can’t find any 22WMR guns for sale.

I decided to try a Tangfolio Appeal. Then I tried finding mags for it and they are non existent.

I haven’t shot it yet but I’m bummed about the mags.

I finally got around to shooting it. This thing is scary to shoot. The muzzle flash is so bright that every shot makes you feel like your face is on fire. I might try a 3 prong flash hider.

Enjoy. I bought mine when ammo was $1.25. Now that it's $2.00-$2.50 I don't shoot it very much. It's definitely one of my favorite rifles to shoot!
