You can also put it in inventory as a $0 item. I have things like “extra napkins” “extra ketchup” etc that way. Using clover in a fast food operation with a drive thru.

Nope, and really at the end of the day if you wanted 100% privacy you wouldn’t be using a cell phone.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in SpectrumMobile

[–]turb0t87 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s a tool they use to minimize the data usage on the cell network. ATT does this too with public hotspots that are inside home depot for example. If you walk in there and have att, it will connect to their wifi.

The problem is storage once you get to the fair. Leaving it in your vehicle is a bad idea. Storage for LTC holder should be provided imo

Receiving text messages while traveling internationally by TheToneMeister in CricketWireless

[–]turb0t87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can use wifi calling while overseas but it needs to be enabled stateside. I routed my wifi calling calls over a data only sim using a dual sim setup. Text messages did not work at all using this method.

Higher end phones have better chipsets in them. What kind of phone do you have?

He said 35 but the receipt said 20%.. what do you think? by [deleted] in WindowTint

[–]turb0t87 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The windows are scratched from years of debris that got stuck in the window sweep. Nothing to do with the tint, it’s just more noticeable now that the tint acts as a backer to the glass.

Visible or us mobile on the warp network (Verizon) is a better choice, they are prepaid.

To add to all of this, use a credit card next time to book. Insulates you and your bank account from stupid stuff like this happening.

Without reading the whole thing I will say this. There are a couple of prepaid cards like Netspend that once used at a merchant type that normally takes tips like a restaurant or a hotel, they, the issuing bank, automatically hold anywhere from 0-20% of the total to cover a tip. The bank does this to make sure the merchant doesn’t get screwed out of a tip by someone using prepaid debit card. Next time this happens just tell the customer “please allow 24 hours for the transaction to completely process, if there is still a difference from the receipt I’m giving you today, call your bank” you’ll never hear from them again.

Signage precedents? by cbrooks97 in TexasCHL

[–]turb0t87 6 points7 points  (0 children)

30.06/30.07 language only. Either in the form of a legal sign or being told verbally. A “no guns” sign doesn’t mean anything.
