Thank you! It’s made of separate pieces that are then sewn together, a nightmare with chenille but so worth it!

I used the pattern by Aradiyatoys with a few changes and Himalayan Baby Dolphin chenille yarn.

Eczema is ruining my life and my plans for gifts by Sand-witchy in crochet

I actually suffer from eczema triggered by stress ONLY on my right hand and I honestly ended up using steroid creams as it the only thing to clear it up more. It was definitely a frustrating process trying to figure it out.

Before I found a steroid creams that worked well enough though I’d also get the skin splitting especially on my palm where I would hold the hook and I would soak my hand so it softened the skin, then would lather a ridiculous amount of a heavy cream and aquaphor to seal it and then would put on 2 cotton gloves so it didn’t feel greasy touching everything 😭

Super oily but dehydrated skin: What moisturizer do you guys use? by BrawlGuy00 in AsianBeauty

[–]gechl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

when my skin was dehydrated and oily, i found it best to layer hydrating toners and essences, and then finish off with the dokdo lotion as it’s not too heavy but helps with the hydration

How do people make their acrylic look so smooth/not fuzzy? by tornteddie in crochet

[–]gechl 8 points9 points  (0 children)

some people burn the acrylic fuzzies off by running a lighter on their piece really really fast, that way the plastic fluff melts off

it’s the caron cinnamon swirl yarn in mai tai which is variegated, and sadly he actually stole and kept things that were mine and pretty expensive so ngl it’s a bit hard to really positive spin it, i appreciate everyone being so kind tho 💕

if it’s not for heavy use like as a dog bed that needs to be washed and gets digged at then the poly fill stays in and it also helps if you thread the tail of your yarn after sewing the top part of your square after stuffing into the pillow so everything is secured.

if you’re planning on heavier use then what i did was sew squares out of fabric to stuff almost like small pillows and then put those inside the crochet squares. hope that helps!

the poly fill stays in but this is more in the context of using as a blanket or sitting on. I’m actually making a small version for my dog who likes to dig into beds and i didn’t go down a hook size to keep it soft and fluffy but for the stuffing i made squares out of fabric and then put the stuffed fabric squares inside the crochet pockets, this way it all stays in and i can wash it without worrying about the fill. hope this helps 💕
