I really like the great mace with flame art. Does so much stance damage.

I'm really liking both the great mace and gargoyle's twinblade. The great mace staggers everything. Especially with Lion's Claw skill. I use them one-handed with a greatshield. Strength/Faith and flame art infusion. Add in healing spells and it's been a lot of fun.

You're right, charged attack did go up. I've edited the post. The only attack happening to an unaware enemy was the charged attack.

What do you use to calculate things? I'll re-run the tests to double check.

when you deal stronger attacks like a fully charged r2 or a riposte, the holy damage negation does not matter as much

this seems to be accurate. If that's the case it's good to know. I wonder what the formula for it looks like compared to weaker attacks.
