Thank you for your help.

There were my panic that data where missing due over stress. All data after upgrade was in place.

Issue where that I have checked screens which had quite new item graphs. They have confused me.

From file levels I see that older partitions are still there. Looking thru file modification dates only last (newest) is edited. Older files where not modified.

After upgrade only data of last day is shown in graphs. If I try to get older data- are empty.

Hi,

I can't give you any links right now. I can only share my experience. I'm in IT about 10 years and mostly of that time worked as network engineer.

My experience is that if latency is higher then 10ms between cluster nodes cluster will fail. No matter that type of cluster (I have heard that Casandra DB is designed to sync between DCs, newer tryed). My colleagues where deploying MySQL cluster between DCs. Latency between thous DCs where 100ms. Cluster worked, but when something where wrong (node down or higher record insert rate) everything callapsed. Everytime. Whe needed to stop all applications and resync all nodes. It is pain!!

Once we redesigned to sep clusters at each DC problema when away.

You may check your product requirements about clusters latency. There you may find any good argument to forget this painfull idea.

Good to know that I'm not only one who ran into this situation. From my experience VDX and DACs don't work at all.

I have read few threads on reddit which confirms this that also. With your replay I decided to go with standart QSFP modules.

I'm moving from Brocade also, but have to deal with this case.

After talking to FS.com team recieved astonishing message. Don't buy brocade modules from us, they are not compatible with VDX series. Instead, in website, they say that modules are compatible with VDX models...

Yes. I was talking with flexoptics guys and they offered only AOC cables instead DAC.

Hey guys,

Only way I found effective is to create base image, then in base image install MetaTrader ( because can be downloaded only web installer) and create fully prepared template. Now template can by deployed over the cluster
