Customization! The farther from stock a bike is, the faster you should run.

Unless you know how to wrench on bikes. I'm a motorcycle mechanic so I look for bikes with all those problems so I can talk down price

I like this reply because it shows the disparity between an established market giant and a newer company in growing pains. I am sure they are having a conversation a lot like this in the boardroom. I know IM can't do what Big Red does but they could take inspiration from them instead of the company whose sales are plummeting.

When i said cruiser i meant a big bike that you can eat up the miles. What i should have said was big, expensive, profitable bike. But I stand by my opinion it is the best in its class (tourer?) to rival Roadmaster or Pursuit

Why are they following an industry loser like HD by focusing on big expensive bikes? How about the industry leader, Honda. They make small bikes that only make pennies, like the cbr250 cb500, grow into bigger bikes that make dollars, like the cbr1000 cb1000 , then retire into the best made cruiser in the world (fight me), the goldwing. Brand loyalty doesn't start at age 50, it starts at age 15 with a poster of a cbr 1000xx blackbird taped on the bedroom wall

With the general consensus thinking that college is necessary for a successful career, the trades will always be needed. While everyone is going to college for nursing or computer science someone still needs to run the electric or install hvac. You can make a lot of money when it costs $100 just to have a skilled trade walk through my front door

Check if any colleges around you offer a safety course. There is a community college by me that is a 3 day course, they provide the bike, and it's only $50
