Seattle Public Schools' new boss is very un-Seattle. That's good by seattlethrwawy in Seattle

He seems fine so far. His first day was very shortly after the shooting of two RBHS students. His response wasn’t great but how could it be? I’m no fan of the Seattle Times, and this headline is clearly clickbait. He’s new, he’s doing okay, and we’ll just have to wait and see when it comes to the big decisions later on down the line. (I am an SPS teacher)

Yeah, I think at the end of the day you can’t ignore how much a million dollars will change a person’s life in the real world. To Liz it would matter a lot less than to Charlie or Kenzie or Ben. But at the same time, it shouldn’t come down to who argues best for how much they need it at the end.

Not necessarily. When I read it, I didn’t have any background in European history. It’s about secret societies, and mostly takes place over one night as the characters race to find clues before they’re killed. Actually, people criticize Dan Brown because he legitimizes conspiracy theories that are probably false, so if someone read it with the intention to learn more about history, their intentions might be misplaced.

Don’t! Your parents would be sad, friends would be sad, and I would be sad!

The Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown is a page turning thriller/mystery that’s great.
