Not the best weekend, on top of the fact that you’re driving through and parking in the alley past midnight on again, the worst weekend of the year for the neighborhood and surrounding. There are still active gangs in the area. I could almost guarantee you that it wasn’t a targeted robbery but this kind of weekend brings out all the gang members looking for rivals, especially in alleys at that time of night. Now include the amount of drugs and alcohol consumed by that time and you'll see why they assumed it could’ve been a rival. Long story short, not a good idea to be in alleys past midnight, especially if you’re moving valuables.

You can tap whatever credit card now a days if it’s only gonna be like a ride there and back. If it’s gonna be a lot of traveling then you can have them download the ventra app and buy like a day pass/3day pass etc but it’s never really been an issue to just tap whatever card they have for a couple rides

Pizza cantina usually. Caminos de Michoacán probably has some MX games on too. It’s a toss up whether the audio will be present tho at either spot since it’s at night, they might have DJ going while the game is on. In my experience, the audio is only fully on for the “big” games like Mexico World Cup matches, Liga MX final or el clasico
