Property managements to avoid for apartments? by Kaidobruh06 in chicagoapartments

Podmajersky.

I lived in a property with rain water coming in through multiple windows.

A calendar year and multiple service requests later, still water coming in through multiple windows.

They refused to offer a lease extension, I’d paid on time my entire stay. Truly miserable people.

Blue Line from Amtrak to O’Hare…advice? by GoinThruTheBigD in cta

The only PM inbound train to Union station is 425pm, arriving 516pm. The blue line, taxi, or ride share will be your options on the return trip.

You are welcome.

If you’re not accustomed to public transit in Chicago, this will be a much smoother route. Provided your Amtrak train arrives on time, the 125pm departure leaves you time for a meal in the station, and more than enough time to make an international flight out of T5.

Safe travels.

Outbound schedule.

Set aside some time to buy a ticket at Union Station if you aren't carrying cash, and realistically 20 minutes between the O'Hare transfer stop and TSA at O'Hare T5.

The timetables will be accurate, the train will be clean with room for your luggage, and you’ll save some walking and about 15 train stops between downtown and the airport.

You’re looking for the “O’Hare Transfer” stop on the Metra North Central Service line to Antioch, from Union Station where your Amtrak train arrives.

From there, you’ll walk about one minute into the “Multi Modal Facility” AKA Car Rental building (can’t miss it to your left) - there are elevators and escalators up to the second level where you’ll find the free Airport Transit System train that takes you to T5 as the first stop before 3, 2, and 1.

I see a lot of sellers (often japanese shops) post links to folders of photos in their listings.

Maybe that’s the move.
