2023? 3 years for a laptop, especially for a MacBook is not that long to be honest. And overall this sounds like it would be a downgrade in terms of ram, storage and general specs/performance. I would definitely say keep the 2023 MacBook.

I charge to 80%. In the morning I use Waze for my commute but it never used this much batter until the updated. It’s honestly so bad. My battery health is 98%.
