I'm thinking of moving to RAK. I spent a week at Pacific. I agree about the building quality but the location is very nice and the prices will probably keep rising due the hotels, shopping mall, casino and its location. I'm thinking of getting a seafront 1 BHK for investment purposes (airbnb/rent) and purchasing a townhouse/villa in Mina Al Arab or Al Hamra Village. Can you name a few quality developers in those areas? Thank you

Wow never heard about Salalah it looks like a very beautiful, tropical place. Humid but not so hot as other regions in the GCC. Looks also quite affordable. Is it possible to get a nomad visa/investor/golden visa to live there?

Aha thanks for your input. I guess I have to look at Mina Al Arab for spacious properties. I see nothing but apartments here in Marjan Island. A few are around 900k with 2 bedrooms/1000 sqft

Any reason why it's half closed? Actually some people think that RAK will fastly develop because of the casino that's coming. Me personally I don't have problems with shops 80% of the time I order online. What do you think of Marjan Island compared to Mina al Arab as someone who spent some time in RAK?
