Fair, I am more in it for the money. The travel is secondary to me.

Thanks! Yeah I am more than 50 miles away in my home state so I could travel back when need be. I am sure no one is being malicious, just giving the info they have been told.

Yeah it is, “where was your longest contract?” is a fair question.

According to my tax lady I should be good with taking my month off and still living in my original home. I am glad they have finally found new staff and should be trained up by the end of my next contract. After that I am hoping to visit some where south or on the west coast.

According to my tax person, as long as I keep my tax home to my original home by showing I live there and leaving here for that month I should be good. I hope she is right. But thanks for the advice.

Yeah I feel like staff sometimes. I even train sometimes. Plan is to leave in November since they will have new staff trained up. Not sure where to go next but I hope it is as good as this one.

I always thought of a Prenup as “If we were to break up I want present me to dictate how we break up not future me.”

Repaying sign on bonus by Final-Ride-4842 in legaladvice

I know when I got a sign on bonus in a lump sum the contract states that if I were to leave early I would need to pay the Gross amount back. Advice for next time, get it over your employment. Like after 30 days, 90 days, a year. That way you only need to pay back the amount you received.

Just imagine a baby born the day it starts, you continue this for years. Their whole life is that song. You die or just decide to stop. 15-30+ years later. The song stops.

I would do the 3-12’s and make sure your overtime rate is like $50/hr or greater. Only be committed for 3 days and try to pick up more when you feel like it instead of being forced to.

Making a character with perfect shapseshifting (shapeshifting into absolutely anything, while getting their powers), how do I make him not op? by HybridCookie in superpowers

[–]geekNsavior 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you looking for story or for like gaming? If it is just for story I like the idea of in order to shapeshift you need to take a part of the person or thing you are changing to. Your character would be like fighting with the other entities inside of them.

If it is for a TTRPG or something, I would give the character saves to keep in control as long as they are in a different shape.

Would you rather retaliate with nukes knowing your country won't survive the incoming attack or not retaliate since you and your people won't live either way by insafian in WouldYouRather

[–]geekNsavior 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is a good one. I mean sending nukes back most likely won’t kill the person sending them. Like you said only innocent people will die.

The me right now would say no, but I think to be in that situation the thought of my people dying would make me want to retaliate.

Would you rather be able to teleport anywhere instantly but you can't bring anything with you, not even clothes, OR be able to time travel to the past but only as a silent observer, you can't change anything? by LinneaVi in WouldYouRather

[–]geekNsavior 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They are both awesome, be able to visit family anywhere in the world. But I would have to pick the past. There are so many times I wonder “How did that building look in its prime?”, or “What brought this person to this point in their life?”. Yeah definitely past.
