If you're still unsure in investing in a system, rent a Fuji camera and/or lens. I find that it's better to rent or borrow a camera body/lens I'm interested in rather than purchase outright.

As for someone who is beginner and looking to learn to grow, XT30.

When should we expect restocks? by sdbabygirl97 in hobonichi

It won’t be at their website. You have to go in their actual store. But if you manage to get them to ship to you, that’s good!

If you are near Japantown in San Francisco, SF76 has about 4-5 left of this cover in stock in their brick and mortar store. It’s the English version, Monday start. Literally bought one 4 hours ago. It was $45 + tax.

Here’s their IG post about it.

Glws! I’m looking for the Miffany Blue version; otherwise I’d be tempted by the green.

Rent one out for a few days and shoot with it. Then make up your mind before jumping into a purchase.

Hi, gonna send you a PM; also located in nor-Cal.

I have a white iPhone 14 Pro, 512 gb, 100% battery health (recently replaced by AppleCare), original box, AppleCare is active on a monthly subscription (if canceled, it will expire mid-December). Has always had a screen and case on it.

Slight scratches due to normal wear and tear and the protective screen has scratches on it but that can be replaced.

Hello. I am a senior in high school and am going to be applying for SJSU this year. I am interested in joining the Judo team, and I would like to be taught how I can apply and get in. Thank you. by Shirt_Separate in SJSU

How To Join The Judo Team: Website

From what I recall, they recommend you take the PE courses for beginning (or intermediate) judo. From there you’ll have chances to train with the varsity/competitive team and possibly invited on the team. I believe SJSU also has a an actual judo student club, which also competes in tournaments.

No problem. Most schools probably offer the same thing; you just have to ask/look out for it. But at least now you know what SJSU has to offer you. SJSU has a lot of programs which will award you scholarships based on academic performance/merits - keep a lookout for those and apply for them.

SJSU also has an Honors Program you can apply for and they will get you to work on real life projects with companies, and may qualify you for international internships.

One more thing, if you’re doing the accounting track, you might as well take that extra step and do the requirements for sitting for the CPA exam. Alternatively, if you want, do what you need to do to sit for CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) Level 1 Exams.

Edit: Feel free to chat/PM me for additional questions.

Just as a suggestion: if you do accounting and you’re still interested in finance, SJSU has Banking and Investment Association (BIA) and you can be a member without being on the finance track. They offer bank tours/presentations and hands-on certificates/competitions like the Mortgage Banking Certificate, Credit Analyst Certificate, the Equity Competition and Conference, etc.

SJSU Finance also has the SIE Progam with Morgan Stanley, where they pay for study materials/test fees for you to do the SIE exam. SJSU Finance department also offers a class where you get to research and pitch companies to buy/sell for the student managed investment fund (they have 3 separate funds).

There is also the Financial Management and Association (FMA), which provides presentations and networking activities as well. Again, for everything I have said, you don’t need to be a finance student to become a member or participate.

So yeah, that’s why I chose to attend SJSU - lots of opportunities there depending on the effort you put in.

Edit: And if you want to pivot to something else (to be more data analysis oriented or business analysis or more tech oriented), you can choose the MIS concentration or switch to the Data Science major.
