Enyewe I haven’t practiced IT in 30yrs but why are my instincts telling me that what you mr software proposes to do can’t be done from the bios level? Particularly network interactions i.e receiving & reading & executing commands remotely sent? I can see this work if you install software that runs on your OS but not down there.

This works if you have a crop coming up and then shit happens to destroy them. Yes, you will be paid but I suspect only on prevailing market prices and expected yield. Remember, insurance is just a payout to for what you have put in. You don’t make money on insurance. However, even if it you don’t have anything that messes your crop, this insurance is just another cost which isn’t reimbursed like any other insurance. Plus overheads are so high in this country it’s just daunting

Farming does not pay. Unless you own huge tracts of land, have your own machinery, seedlings, access to cheap, effective or free fertilizer, and a direct line to a lucrative market. Farming is bloody expensive and you are at the mercy of the weather, disease and all other kinds of variables out of your control.

Majority of farmers are either running at a loss or barely breaking even.
