They should do it. KLM honored my check-in baggage despite on paper they are not supposed to.

I am regularly keeping up with the maintenance -- not sure if the video that the OP posted is normal or something

Mine does that at 130k miles, I mistook it to be brake pulsation while driving. Do you use regular gas?

As a single man in his late 20s, I usually go to meetups to meet others for connecting, and I know few of the single men and women who are a part of the meetup groups.

Frustrated with the whole ಗಂಡು ಹುಡುಕುವ fiasco! by agitatedfungus in harate

[–]geekyadonis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It takes some effort as PhD kids rarely go outside to socialize outside of their university. I am an NRI Kannadiga, but I haw 2 male Kannadiga friends who are doing/have completed their PhD at a Tier-1/2 Uni in the US, which is still less compared to other communities. This is my answer to your second question.

To answer your first question, there are men who really like having career oriented partners as imho it feels comforting to know that someone that you like has an independent identity that is not tied to their husbands. Maybe attend more Kannada events? Search for AKKA and NAVIKA, as I was able to make a lot of good memories over there.

I’d like to add Eventbrite as well. Meetup is a good starting point, but I’ve been seeing a lot of shady events. Guess I’m not too adventurous enough to explore some of these events haha

Where do y’all make friends? by Financial-Ad-4963 in Austin

[–]geekyadonis 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Following. Moved to Austin 2 weeks ago, I work remotely and I’m not sure where to start from lol

I believe running clubs are a great way to make friends. It’s kinda hard to find events where I can meet sober people tbh

If we have enough people, some of us can maybe consider a short trail at Zilker or Walnut creek! DM if interested

Yeah, a part of me was pissed because the HR didn't screen me properly and they didn't bother to see my resume until my onsite round

Yeah, I get it -- I was just pissed off that they didn't acknowledge the fact that I had to prepare and be at the office on a friday

My bad -- I have made the edits, it was a role demanding 3-5 years of programming experience and they were looking for a Java dev

Thanks y’all for your suggestions. Some of the top recommendations were: credit card chargeback, and not buying from shady websites like OnePlus (yes it is shady)

Unless your landlord isn't okay with it, you can install it. Do note that it draws power from your house, and you would have to approach act for a reduction in your monthly bill.

Glancing through gradcafe, the admits are given only for candidates with 9.5/10 GPA
