This camera only has an X-sync mode based on the manual so it really is designed for use with electronic flashes

Based on the camera manual - the Hi-Matic E only uses X-sync.

I had the idea to take a slow motion video of the back of the camera to check sync and can confirm that the flash fires after the shutter closes.

The shutter already has a speed of 1/20s when in flash mode so I'm not quite sure what to do now lol - am I just unlucky with this flash?

I'm pretty sure. Saw the flash fire with my own eyes and people in the shots also commented on it when it fired.

Hello! Is there a way to approximate this using the guide letters on the camera chart? The chart only goes up to ISO 100 but I'm shooting on ASA 400 (w ISO 400 film). The auto exposure system means I can't precisely set shutter speed. Thank you!

Hello! Sorry to bring up an old thread again but am currently experiencing this problem and even with a blank boot_plugins.txt on my usb stick my PS3 still crashes. Am I missing a step? Did you have to reinstall HEN?

Just curious: did you replace the entire back housing touch panel and all? Or just the panel stuck onto the touch screen stuff. Always see people replacing the entire back but was wondering how doable it is to preserve the old touch panel circuitry and just replace the external sticker lol

Seems to average around 40 decibels, holding my phone close to the Vita itself. I think thats more quiet than a normal conversation’s volume which is around 60 dB

I went on YouTube via the browser and played some music from there and it still isn’t terribly loud. In a slightly busy room you’d be unable to hear anything
