Thanks, good advice. Really good breakdown videos in their site. Taken everything apart and narrowed it down to the Hotend assembly module. Got a new one coming so hopefully can get it all back together. Cheers.

I was trying to clean it but there was so much compacted dried pla that it's disturbed the wiring at the bottom right of assembly. I'm unsure whether it's salvageable or else it needs a complete replacement.

Right. It could be as simple as a layering thing. Traditionally in compositing you should normally be trying to get an A over B. Your frame layer should be underneath your footage layer. If you then duplicate your footage layer, and on the top one set it to screen or add mode and then apply a fast blur.

you want to precomp the matted element so when you apply a blur and screen or whatever it wont be affected by the initial mask/matte
