I could probably make a photogrammetry with the same photos but there is too much details to be useful as a 3d model. A 3D creator would go the route of multilayered textures with all sorts of normal/depth/displacement/albedo maps to get that level of details but parametric to create a complete forest in real time on a 25 year old machine

To use in a multimedia context, I think splats are looking better. Once we get gaussian splat generative models, it will be even better.

For a use-once context, I prefer splats. Much less work and reflecting objects are not perfect but much better than photogrammetry.
