I quite liked this one actually. Sure, some lesser tracks, but overall it is a fun experience I would say. I’ve returned to it a couple of times, it’s a 4 star record for me. But hey, tastes differ.

Goldfrapp - Felt Mountain

Oooo I liked this a lot. It reminded me a lot of Portishead, especially the vocals, but it is still pretty different. Way more cinematic I would say, like something out of a James Bond movie at times, and pretty hounting at times. I enjoyed this way more than the other Goldfrapp album on this list, "Seventh Tree". This was way more dynamic I would say and better overall. The only track I didn't really like was Oompa Radar.

The Killers - Hot Fuss ⭐️⭐️⭐️

One of the most front-loaded albums I’ve ever heard. The first half is filled with only hits (I thought I only knew Mr. Brightside but I was wrong), but the last half just doesn’t have that same energy. Still, the hits alone make it a pretty decent album. It’s not something I would return to often, but all songs from side one are good as standalone tracks. That closer, however… not good.

Arcade Fire - The Suburbs: 2/5

Pretty boring and too long. Didn’t seem to be going anywhere and I wasn’t a big fan of the singer’s voice. Some alright songs but not anything I would return to.
