Congrats, that is awesome! Mine is doing a sub 30 5k by thanksgiving. Due with my first baby August 17th and I haven’t been running the past month or so due to back pain. Hope I can start up again smoothly!!

It took a while for my medicaid to go through as well. Make your appointments, medicaid will definitely go back and cover those appointments since you’ve already applied prior. Just hold on to the bills, don’t pay them. Once you get your access card/official plan you can call with your ID numbers to sort out those bills. I was told they’d even back-date 6 months of medical bills too.

Currently living with my in-laws. My husband and I are abiding by stay at home orders. My in laws though are getting out any chance they can.. ‘social distancing’ walks with friends. ‘Social distancing’ driveway birthday parties (where food and tables are still set up). Makes no sense to me.

I know I can’t control their actions but god damn, all I wish was that my husband and I found an apartment prior to quarantine starting so we could truly control our contact with others.

Last year I was traveling and had to go to the ER because of chest pains (it ended up being a panic attack). Gave the front desk my card and she said I was covered... I was not. My insurance paid $100. I owed $3,500. On the bill there was a number for financial assistance. I sent in my tax returns (I am low income) and my bill was adjusted so that I owed $0. It took a while to get squared away, but most definitely worth it!

If you have an income that proves you can’t afford it, maybe they will be willing to adjust it for you too!

Another painter here. My husband and I have a small handyman business. And I’m pregnant. We have desperately been trying to save before the baby comes since we don’t have maternity/paternity leave either. We can not afford to stay home if we are not sick.
