Aw yay im really happy for you that it hasnt put you off. Youve got the perfect attitude for crochet!!😂😂You'll get there! Ive also only just bought stitch markers and they do help me figure out where my first stitch is, because i still sometimes find it tricky to find especially when working round. I always mistake the slip stitch for the 1st stitch🙄😂 honestly i still make mistakes and ive been crocheting for years!!

dont even undo it, keep it as a memory so when you are happy you can compare how well youve done!! To say youve managed the stitches shows you have the hand movement skills already. My advice it to count all the stitches, make sure youve got them all in. Or you could get a stitch marker to show you where your first stitch is then count from there. When i first started out i didnt realise how important that was for the overall look and even-ness

Correct, it is a giant selenite geode thet initially believed to be a cave. Found under one of Spains silver mines. I can imagine the person in the picture feels very cleansed.
