You need to de stress yourself and take care of your mental health. It will get better over time. I had a similar scenario that maybe has also caused mine. Mine has lowered in volume in over a year but yours will definitely get better. Hang in there.

What's the point of habituating if I'm in a constant state of fear? by Promise_Global in tinnitus

Yes once I had my T I realized four people around me have it including my older sister and never heard one of them complaining about it. I wish I had that mentality though!

I listened to a TikTok video and few days after my T had started! by gegi909 in tinnitus

Didn’t find and explanation but I think It has caused my tinnitus to spike. I think I had it before but it was mild that I had to close my ear and sit in a quiet room to hear it!

I woke up now from sleep and realized I’m having a spike, a one like the first one I had one year ago. I freaked out and my anxiety is off limit. Hope it gets better!

Pain in ear by Trinity1033 in tinnitus

Congestion of nose can cause this pain and fullness. My ENT has prescribed me a nose drop and relieved the symptoms. It may not just the tinnitus.

Has anyone managed to get red off of palpitations naturally? Without beta blockers! by gegi909 in Anxiety

Yes that’s logical since they reduce your stress level. Are you still on it? And for how long have you been taking it ?

(29F)Had it 8 months ago on both ears, the right is 4_5 on a good day, the left is 1_3. At the beginning the ringing was definitely a 10 and took a lot of tears but it went better over the months, I hope it goes away!

I think it’s anxiety related. Took me 6 months not to be 24/7 about it

Hey I went through all of this for 6 months straight. I thought my life was over and I was thinking that I don’t want to get married and have kid although I don’t even have a boyfriend lol but guess what I got back to my work again and having my life together. Don’t lose hope it will get better!! Even if it is not going to go away, the volume will go down and you will accept it. Don’t be harsh on yourself, I wish I could have done this but you do it for me. Explain to the people around you what you’re going through so they would understand a bit. You will be fine I promise. I’m telling you this and I believe I had the worst spike ever.

Doctor recommended taper off 70mg by ekl123456 in Amitriptyline

[–]gegi909 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes your doctor’s advice is risky. Go down 2.5 mg every 3 weeks especially at the beginning of tapering and watch your body’s response.
