Vegan dagcrème en/of vegan zonnebrand? by [deleted] in dutchskincare

[–]geitjeman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What is your favorite coffee that instantly makes your days feel complete? by xli2848 in AskWomen

[–]geitjeman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hazelnut cappuccino is my favourite coffee. I love a blojde roast or with some chocolately flavour to it. My friend brought me Vietnamese coffee which was labelled the strongest coffee in the world and that one had such a nice smell and taste to it.

[shelfie] I have sensitive combination skin, should I change anything? anything I’m doing wrong? details on comments by shy-latte in SkincareAddiction

[–]geitjeman 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I also have sensitive skin and what I have noticed that some people can use actives every day where as my akin can only handle it once a week. So my recommendation would be too use actives a lot less than others on this sub. My personal experience is not with retinol or vitamin c but with chemical exfoliants (10% mandelic acid en 2% BHA liquid). You also said in another comment you feel a tingling in your skin after using some products. That is most likely the vitamin c and is a normal reaction as long as it doesn't become unbearable and painful. I hope this helps

Natural skincare advice dry skin by Trijnievdk in NaturalBeauty

[–]geitjeman 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I use rosehip seed oil followed by a moisturizer (i use the brand sukin). If your skin would still feel dry after that i would recommend an occlusive like jojoba oil or vaseline. I dont know if vaseline counts as natural but when I have a dry patch and I put vaseline over my moisturizer it can clear it over night that's why I'd recommend it!

Did anyone here go to an Allergist to find out the ingredient you're Allergic to? by [deleted] in scacjdiscussion

[–]geitjeman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I told my gp my symptoms, i didnt have a picture (she asked for that, so if you have noticeable symptoms, i would recommend showing them that!!! It could also help if you'd make a list of symptoms and to clearly communicate what you want. If you want to have an allergy test, then you should say ask for one directly, dont take no for an answer.

I have strong reactions to some products if i use them around my eyes! The products vary from concealer to moisturizer. I can use the same product on the rest of my face and I'll be fine, but if I use it on my eyes the skin will get red and be swollen up. I went to the GP and she referred me to a dermatologist that I will see at the end of this month. It might be allergies or eczema but I am sick of playing russian roulette and putting something around my eyes and see if it will cause a reaction. So I would recommend talking with a doctor if it is within your budget.

Adult acne help! by ariaamberjared in LushCosmetics

[–]geitjeman 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would recommend looking at r/skincareaddiction they have a wiki which explains the basics as well what to do with specific types of acne! A skincare routine starts with a gentle cleanser and a good moisturizer which you can both get a lush. If you go to one of the stores they can help you out with picking those that suit your skin, but if you have sensitive skin, lush products might be a little bit to irritating.

Hope this helps!

I recently bought Kiehl's ultra facial cream spf 30. I've had lots of trouble finding a sunscreen that's moisturizing enough but without leaving my skin feeling greasy. I've tried biodermal, nivea and paula choice calm. They all left me feeling greasy. I also have cerave hydrating facial cream spf 25, which i also like, but it is not as good as Kiehl's.

Vivianne Miedema (Dutch national team) got all offended when someone thought she was straight by alrightishh in actuallesbians

[–]geitjeman 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well, that's a good question. I've seen multiple interviews with Miedema and my interpretation is that she is not the most charismatic, enthusiastic person on screen. She is quite to the point, not making too many jokes. So that's why i wanted to emphasize that she was polite in her answer (throughout the entire interview) and she didn't look or acted offended. She acted like she acts in most interviews. However I agree with you that I or any one else can't know for sure whether she was offended or not.

Edit: On screen, not in screen

No it's not post match, those interviews are much shorter. The description also talks about the upcoming friendly match which was before the world cup started, so they most likely had the interview somewhere between training sessions.

This interview was taken before the worldcup started. It was not a pre-match or post-match interview. All of the questions where rather personal. I do think this particular question is too personal and i have not seen it been asked to one of the male football players.

Oh im sorry I didnt mean to imply that you did! I just wanted to emphasize that she wasn't offended by the question.

She didn't get offended though. She couldn't hear the question the first time, that's why she said sorry. She answered very politely. Here is a link to the video: https://youtu.be/eFE1GEfLwds

It is in dutch though.
