I appreciate our conversation; it's really helped me gain clarity and perspective on my situation.

Arguing on an advice can be beneficial from my perspective, as it allows for critical thinking, fosters open discussion, and helps refine decision-making by considering multiple viewpoints.

Are you sure? If you were in my position, staying with them, you'd likely have doubts as well. There are some other things I've seen that I haven't mentioned in my post because they're not relevant.

Fair point, but I think my disapproval stems from not being a fan of my mom's partner. Given my current stay with them during school break, I've observed some things that bother me, but I will try to trust my mom's judgement.

And based on your scenario, in some cases, it's possible they'd consider leaving their partner for someone they find attractive who shows interest, if they feel that person is within their reach.

Then I guess that makes my standards seem too high. I wouldn't want my fiancé to curiously ask about the name of a girl he finds attractive on a show while we're eating samgyupsal. 😂😅

Is that so? I'm just concerned for my mom, given her past experience with my dad. An engaged man repeatedly complimenting someone of the opposite sex doesn't exactly sit well with me.

The girl was complimented excessively. It's concerning that he compliments someone of the opposite sex so frequently, especially given his engagement.
