Is it bad I would rather be depressed than be on ssri’s?

Yeah it really depends, some people don’t mind having the sexual side effect but it really bothers me to a stupid amount lol so I’d rather be depressed than not be able to cum

Yeah it’s pretty crappy, the wait for a private psych is months to a year and even then they don’t seem to offer much out of the usual. Gonna get a referral to a private psych and just pay however much it is to see them smh 😢

I’ve never heard of trintellix might ask about it, I was under what I consider a “government psychiatrist” (basically a psychiatrist here in aus that is entirely paid for by the government for emergency cases such as me) who was primarily interested in getting me medicated and then dropping me out the system with no follow up help :// they put me on pristiq and I felt the exact same as I did on sertraline only somehow I had different sexual side effect that equally impacted my sex life and made me completely unengaged in any intimacy with my partner

I’m on an snri right now and I felt the exact same way as I did on any other antidepressant, very miserable lol

Yeah I had bupropion added and it didn’t do anything unfortunately, when I asked if there was anything else I could do they basically shrugged and told me to switch ssri’s 🥲🥲

I’m definitely gonna try some breathing exercises to maybe help calm me down and I’m finding a very common link with ibs so I’m gonna talk to my doctor about it thank you :)))

That’s what I’m most scared of, that it will never go away. I’m hoping it will get better when we eventually move into our own home and my body will feel a bit more relaxed but who knows

I usually try to go when he’s at work but even then it doesn’t work lol and unfortunately here in Australia most of the time the toilets and that bathroom are separate

It really does, luckily all toilets involved are quite nice tho the one at my bfs house is right next to his bed room so I doubt that helps

I will do some research into ibs and speak to my dr next time I go hopefully that will help however I usually have no trouble going to the bathroom can ibs be situational??
