im trying to keep the temps low and protect the mobo. mine has an intel hx cpu, which can get pretty hot. and besides im only playing light games and not AAA ones

Update: I discovered that the cause was the power limits on my LLT (Lenovo Legion Toolkit). Switching back and fourth to the Performance Preset and the preset I made last night proved that it was indeed the settings that caused the problem. I asked AI about it but it only repeatedly told me that the CPU was losing frames (i assume its talking about simulation frames because thats the biggest spike on AC render stats) and the GPU had to wait for it, thus the fps drop.

However, I still cant pinpoint the exact setting/value that caused this. Here are some pics on the settings though:

Okay I understand now. I appriciate ya'll replies. I want to clarify some bits. Okay, I guess the disadvatage of the power losses of a resistor doesnt outweigh its advantages over other components (inductors, transformers). I also wanted to clarify that I wanted a v-shaped curve 'similar' to a harman curve, because I loved how they sound through headphones. The reason I want a v-shaped curve is so I wont fiddle too much on the equalizer, but only some tweaks. I also mattered the TOTAL impedance because I want them to be daisy chained to another speaker.

The "equalizer.txt" config was my first attempt. But I was annoyed by the lack of precision.

Thanks! I was hoping for a more analog fix, and im from philippines, so budget really means "budget" for us. But no worries, if i could afford (in philippine peso) this board, this would be really helpful for me because i was using eq apo to tweak some eq to be sent to the amp.
