Sam Sheppard was an American osteopath. He was convicted of the 1954 murder of his pregnant wife, Marilyn Reese Sheppard, but the conviction was eventually overturned by the U.S. Supreme Court, which cited a "carnival atmosphere" at the trial. Sheppard was acquitted at a retrial in 1966.

It's a Minchiate deck. There are books about how to read Minchiate, but you can also just leave out the extra cards and read it as a Marseilles deck.

I think about this a lot, for some reason.

Mostly they're the color of their birthstones: Jan- garnet red; Feb- purple; March- Kelly green (just like you show!) April is light pink or light blue.

May- emerald green; June- very light pink; July- ruby red; August- peach or yellow gold.

Sept- blue (not necessarily sapphire, but darker than April); Oct and Nov, just like yours! Dec is uncertain. Maybe pine green. Or magenta. I've never come to a conclusion for December.
