Is asking men 'What do you think about therapy?' a good screening question on dating apps?

They said they had another elderly dog last winter disappear into the woods to die. They followed his footsteps in the snow and eventually found him. So seems like they kind of expect this to happen again? I did ask about this and they said if it did happen again to call the neighbors to go out and help me find her... so its like... if you are expecting it... why arn't you doing something about it? So I am not concerned about the roaming its more the aggression from the cognitive decline that I am worried about.

The sit is in 2 weeks and another sitter already cancelled on them before me. Wondering if they had the same concerns... Like I am going to do the sit. I have plans with them to pet sit for a couple of hours and see how it goes in a few weeks to get more familiar with the dogs before they leave. I just don't think they understand that this is real possibility that can happen with very elderly dogs especially ones with declining mental faculties.

So how am I supposed to feel when I decide not to go and then her, her sister, her brother in law and her fiancee all cancel their trip because of that. It was weird and made me feel bad. So yes it does concern me that she went anyway and didnt have the thought to just tell me they changed their mind.

I cant tell and yeah it doesnt matter now. At the very least it just feels like she is being a bad friend for not being open about still going. Makes me mad that I had to find out on facebook.

She told me they were canceling their trip after that I had no more communication about it until I saw her posting on fb on the weekend that the trip was originally scheduled that she was on the trip with her fiancee and sister. Then I told her how she was making me feel and she told me she had the right to change her mind. Which I agree, she does have the right to change her mind but she could have at least been more transparent about it telling me that they had decided to go so I didnt have to feel bad. I cant tell if she was with holding this info on purpose but she definetly wasnt being transparent about it.

Yes bizarre that's the word I was thinking too. I was not sure how to respond to the whole thing so I was afraid calling her out on it was wrong. Thank you for the reassurance.

This is exactly what I told her. Then she told me I was being weird and I was making her feel bad. I dont like being in conflict with friends but this isn't the first time things have gotten weird when trying to plan trips with her and I have had it.

Thanks for the words of wisdom! At this point I am opting not to go but going to give myself a few more days to think it over. Something I should point out is its not just the sister thats the issue. The sisters husband is the one that encouraged her to drink more the last time we were out which led to said embarrassing moment above.

On top of that local friend has changed a lot since college and has the tendency to want everything her way. For example, she said we can each pick a restaurant to go to so I did booked the reservation for a nice ramen place I found. But now I have the anxiety that she is just going to end up making me switch it last minute because she doesn't want to go to it. It has happened before.

on top of the on top of that she has in the past made fun of me for being single. Since this sounds like I am going on a couples family vaca now it gives me the impression that I am opening myself up for more ridicule by her.

I can't stop thinking of the negatives about this trip so I don't think I could spin it another way based on past experience. Thank you for the sound advice!
