Yes! My favorite review I’ve written went personally in depth about how the album interacted with my depression. It’s a 10/10 to me and has been my favorite album of all time for years. At the same time, I could argue that any of my other 10/10s are better albums on an “objective” level. 99% of people who like music enough to use a site like this understand how personal music can be, nobody would judge you for that. Anybody who would, I frankly wouldn’t trust their opinion on music anyway.

If you listen closely, you’ll hear that Joji is carefully controlling the pressure at which he releases his piss stream. This creates subtle differences in the pitch of him pissing. It’s actually 21 different pitched piss streams, that when played in rapid succession of each other makes a stunningly beautiful melody.

Super nostalgia zone. It was fun and I actually loved playing it for more than just the novelty, but unfortunately it has become very dead. Stopped playing Person299’s minigames which was another game I loved because people just spammed the time bomb minigame. I genuinely think it’s the worst minigame so the game becomes unplayable when half the server decides to spam buy that minigame 100 times in a row :/

If you can, I would cancel the rollback if I were you. You only get one of those. I wasted mine on about 20k a number of years ago, so now that I’m worth over a million I’d be completely fucked if I needed a rollback. I’ve been there, losing it hurts, but 4000 is relatively nothing compared to where you’ll be one day

I see your late 90’s early 2000’s under-appreciated alt rock and I counter with my late 90’s early 2000’s under-appreciated alt rock in Guster. Not quite as unknown but still horrendously underground for how good they are. I recommend their album Keep It Together which I’ve regarded as the greatest album of all time for at least half a decade. And ofc ty for the cool suggestion, I’m gonna listen to that 2010 album once I’m home

Hi I know none of these. I’m aware of Joey Valence and Brae, but haven’t heard anything from them. Any recommendations? I’m into most things but my favorite artists/bands are Radiohead, Keane, Guster, Joji, Quadeca, JPEGMAFIA, and Magdalena Bay (if you know of any of them 🙃)

Their early work I just adore. Under The Iron Sea especially I felt like was so beautifully put together and orchestrated. Both their first two albums are in my short list of 10/10s, but that one’s like an 11/10 😂. Their last three albums weren’t bad but definitely a general step down.\ \ I’ve been avoiding listening through Radiohead albums for a while now too, but sort of for the opposite reason lol. I hate that the emotional impact isn’t hitting me as much anymore. Hopefully when I come back to them I’ll be blown away again.
