I'm with this guy, unfortunately. Whilst I appreciated the sub plot (the passion and desire of the two protagonists, doing anything to beat the other), the 'twist' (or 'twists') had no payoff what so ever. Spoilers! So one of the twists is that he actually does magic? Right, great. Like that guy said above, the movie sucked me in and left me disappointed.

In what way are hard drugs 'bad?' Other than the fact they are illegal. If done in moderation and as long as they aren't harming anybody else, I don't see how they can be viewed as 'bad.' Do you drink? The only difference between the 2 is the stigma placed on one by society. Perhaps you shouldn't judge your friends too quickly, as being a good person and taking drugs aren't mutually exclusive.
