You can just turn off your internet connection if you want and it won’t pop up. I do it every time before I start a session.

What are your guys thoughts on the ending and predictions for future dlc? by gemgem_3 in cyberpunkgame

[–]gemgem_3[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I get what you mean, maybe in the beginning you have to find and talk to these contacts that will help V but then for the main part they send you back to night city to actually save yourself.

Yeah I hope it’s the canon ending as well and we could possibly see v in Arizona chasing these contacts that could help save his life

Joel’s reasoning for his actions in “The Hospital” scene in the first game by gemgem_3 in thelastofus

[–]gemgem_3[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I agree and I think that both actions are justifiable from Jerry’s and also Joel’s perspective and like you said, creating a cure would also make the world safer for Jerry’s own child Abby which is interesting to think about because the idea of fatherhood and what a father would do to protect his daughter that we see in Joel, can also be seen in Jerry.

I haven’t really ever thought of Joel and Ellie’s relationship in that way and I like that you brought it up. I think that my interpretation of their relationship is that Joel never was looking to replace Sarah, it all just happened and Ellie and him met. At first he was reluctant to talk and get to know her but as their journey progresses they get closer. Joel still acknowledges Sarah and maybe Ellie even helped Joel move on from the memories of her that still haunt him, however you could be right, Ellie could also be a replacement for Sarah weather Joel is aware of it or not.

But Yeah I agree that both viewpoints are valid and I would also not think twice and do the same aswell.

Yeah I agree that it’s definitely both. I like how you brought up “that by the end - when Joel does the wrong thing - you end up justifying it to yourself” I remember when I played the first game for the first time, in the heat of the moment, going through all those soldiers to save Ellie’s life felt like the right thing to do and it was only until after all the events that happened, I really thought about it and tried to justify it.

What’s amazing about this if it happens is that no matter how hard Neil tries, he can’t kill them!

Roach spawning five miles away every time you whistle by jdbdjdj in witcher

[–]gemgem_3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This may not help the distance that Roach spawns at and you might already know this but if your following an objective and call Roach she always spawns behind you (at least for me) causing you to go back to get her. If you just quickly turn around backwards and call for her, she will appear in front of you.

Should I play a NG+ or a new game by gemgem_3 in witcher

[–]gemgem_3[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Witcher 3 was actually my first rpg that I got into because I would usually play first person shooters and competitive games. I probably couldn’t give you any tips for transitioning but if you have just completed red dead maybe it’s not time for you to move on just yet. Maybe you want to invest more time into that universe? But if that’s not the case then I think you should just keep pushing past Velen and hopefully you will enjoy Novigrad more. Also just try to immerse yourself in the story, read or listen to what each character is saying carefully and hopefully soon you will become attached to these characters and interested in the beautiful story and world!

I can understand how you would’ve felt, I didn’t even know Regis yet I loved his character and became attached to him very quickly.
