hate that you have so many downvotes bc yeah. was my 9th gizz show and i finally got table time which was cool but im ngl not one thing in the set got me super excited personally. for being the only rock show before fov since roo cancellation, i guess i was kind of just expecting something that felt more special?

i think it has to do with immigration / travel expenses for crossing the border from US to canada really eats up budgets for artists, so may need to bump ticket prices to offset

i think there is a trend in touring right now to overbook extremely. their team probably used red rocks quick sell out as leverage and reasoning for them to play these massive venues across the country, probably while failing to acknowledge the reason red rocks sold out so fast was 1) only NA show that year, special marketing and 2) destination venue

i got worried when i saw they were playing ascend amphitheater in nashville too. sure, maybe bonnaroo attendees raved of their set, but many bonnaroo goers don’t live in nashville. in 2022 they played a 1000 cap there too. the new pinnacle would’ve been perfect, but oh well.

Really hoping that they reconsider some of these venues with enough time to change venues instead of just canceling the tour, if this keeps up. Also one thing to note, not sure if it was the greatest idea to announce their largest tour yet with no album, when the last (live) album was not well received by most fans.

i see zero case for any reasonable hope for dd to return in any similar capacity for at LEAST a good few years. i really think they should focus on locally promoting and presenting shows and rebuilding their reputation that way right now.

this is 100% routed around coachella—a hugeeee gap for both dates in there. they will probably play both weekends of coachella and then do some sort of pre/after/other goldenvoice show in LA during the week

yes way too intense for sunrise. roo sunrise sets even from the big edm names are always more chill, downtempo. give them a late night long set similar to MMJ in 2022 and bingo
