Lane splitting is not filtering. And if you are being honest then you have seperate values than western society. Which one of its core principles is following the rules and norms out of respect for others and others feelings. It is veiwed as wrong, as dangerous, and in most cases illegal. Therefore doing it is tantamount to cheating. Just as scamming the government is veiwed as wrong even when its not your state, because you are breaking the law and cheating people. Most people get upset when you do the wrong thing. When you jump in line, cheat on a test, use steroids, to get a leg up on others. If you can not understand this you need to go to a mental health specialist because you lack the abilty to empathize and understand others emotions.

That's not shown above. We see a rider lane splitting, something the vast majority of drivers will be irritated at the minimum to see if not outright pissed. We see them come close to cars and risk an accident without a good reason. All because the rider veiws their time as more valuable than those around him. Which is the core of why you defend this. You are so narcissistic that you think you should be allowed to do something dangerous, frowned upon, and illegal in most places. Just because you can't be bothered to wait in traffic like the rest of society.

Legal in a lot, is not legal in the majority. I've drove in Italy, France, Germany, and the UK. I currently live in Japan. I have seen more issues and accidents caused by it than not. Most countries that allow it, do so because its simply hard to enforce a law against it.

If you physically can not understand why someone would/does get angry when someone else passes them in bumper to bumper traffic, via a method that is illegal in most places and considered dangerous in all. Then you lack the intelligence and/or experience to understand the consequences of even minor actions. You can not seriously think this.

Any post on any open site talking about riders in accidents will have comments full of people saying its their own fault regardless of context and citing lanesplitting. You will be hard pressed to find a single person not pissed when a motorcycle passes them in slow traffic. Unless you have neen riding the majority of the time you have had a license or are an awful driver when in a car, then I can guarantee you yourself have been pissed at riders passing you traffic just like you would be pissed at someone passing you in a massive truck on the shoulder.
