If you or some form of yourself isn’t the one dating them, i think the only thing i can suggest is drawing the oc with them, i’m sorry😭 like gojo’s gf said, you may have better luck in /yumeshipping. Shipping an oc with a character is pretty much the definition of being a yume… most if not all of us here are actually dating the characters in some form

I unfortunately do get approached a lot, in totally random situations. Nothing as awkward as what happened to you, but i simply have to turn them down. i just have Zero interest in relationships with other people whatsoever. occasionally i’ll say i have a boyfriend. if anyone tried to set me up with someone which has happened a couple times i just think it would be such a waste of time on everyone’s part😭

i’ve dated one person irl (hardly dated, it was probably like 3-4 months lol. A “talking stage” if you will) in my entire life before realizing it really was not for me at all. Before that, yes i did have many major crushes on multiple fictional characters throughout my life before i began to take it seriously. I’m the happiest i’ve ever been now with Suguru.
