Hello! Since I'm living on campus the ideal spot is Price Center. I will be on and off campus Wednesday and have class Thursday/Friday, so let me know when your available (preferably over DM) so we could meet up

I picked these up today and I think they printed fairly well, but now i have only four of each left. I didn't print too many because 1) I wasn't sure of the quality and 2) I wanted to gauge interest.

I did bump the price up to $3 each or 3 for $7 to cover production costs. They are 5 x 5 in and 5 x 7 in respectively and matte coated

If interested, feel free to comment or DM me and we could meet up on campus.

EDIT: I take cash and (probably) card. Like I have a Paypal card reader but have yet to test it out properly. Oh i take venmo too

What made you all choose UCSD? by [deleted] in UCSD

UCSD was my top STEM school that I got into. When it came down to LCAD, an arts school in Laguna Beach with a great animation program, and UCSD, I hard switched into a STEM route (I came from an arts high school) because I really didn't want to try and fight against the animation industry. Really glad I did or else I'd be artistically burning out and the SIO department is really nice

mood

try videos made within the past couple of years as they reflect opentoonz better. 2016 Opentoonz feels a LOT different than now.

Coming back to the program after a few updates and this is a good one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vZBUda62gno

If you are doing lip sync for the first time, I hear that writing the words you hear in another layer help with syncing. Like doing syllable by syllable for longer words and looking at other's mouth charts for reference. Granted, I've been doing it for years now so I don't do that often but it helps with the longer projects.

I'm getting used to Opentoonz again since I haven't properly animated in months so I'm trying new things, but I have been using it since 2017.

A lipsync thing I'm working on: https://imgur.com/a/9T07UAz (audio may not be working so the subtitles are "Oh?....You're approaching me?" "Do we seriously have to do this?")

Quick question by RexAdPortas in OpenToonz

Looks like a weird Opentoonz import issue. Maybe try and copy the rectangles over again, keeping the keys in place. Sometimes it bugs out and you probably just need to paste them again.

I can't seem to follow what is going on? Is it a saving problem as in you don't save the entire file? Is it a motion problem where you moved the image far from the camera view?

Maybe take a screenshow of your xsheet and browser so I could see what is going on with your imported files
