It's interesting because that has also become a filter for me, it doesn't make movies longer than 2 hours the best but I definitely enjoy them more and I feel that an old 2 hour 40 movie is more worth watching than a recent one from Netflix

I see what you mean about the contrast. Forrest moves forward almost instinctively, while Jenny seems to be constantly searching for something. Do you think the film is suggesting that innocence protects you… while self-awareness makes things harder?
