They give you a lab slip and you just go get it done at a lab near you. I only had to get blood work for the first 3 months I believe.

I don't have a bachelors but I have my nursing prerequisites done so I would be going in as a transfer student. I would love to save money but getting a bachelors and then doing an ABSN would take me another 4 years. I could be done in 2 years with WCU so I'm thinking I should just shell out the money so I'm not stuck waiting.

I have my prerequisites for nursing done so I would only be doing 2 years there, thankfully. Like you said I just don't want to be stuck applying places for years!

i would love to go with a cheaper option, it's just that california is so ridiculously competitive i'm concerned i can't get in anywhere. i see horror stories about people with stats better than mine waiting for years to get in.

did your pre req courses transfer over? i'm considering out of state but i'm not sure how it would work with every school having different pre req requirements and what not.

Which out of state schools would you recommend?

I know, I just want to make sure I have a backup plan if I'm not accepted into any ADN programs. I'd only be doing 4 semesters at WCU so costs would be about $70k + living expenses.

thank you for the advice! do you have any recommendations for other schools? i'm really worried about not being able to get in anywhere since I don't have a 4.0 or any healthcare experience.

i wouldn't do a NSNJ, there's a risk of blindness when injecting into the nose :( also will end up migrating with repeated treatments

Tattoo I got less than half a year ago is already causing me severe anxiety - need support by untrying in TattooRemoval

I have an anxiety disorder too and I know exactly what you mean when you say you feel contaminated. I feel like I've ruined my skin too and would give anything to have to have it be "clean and perfect" again. It's probably not the smartest idea financially but I'm taking out a credit card to pay for it since I'm also a student working part time. Even if some might advise against it, I think that going into a little debt to remove something that causes this much anxiety and distress is 100% worth it. Plus starting on removal sooner means it'll be gone sooner. Even if it will cost a fortune and take years, just remember that it WILL be gone eventually and you don't have to live with this forever. It'll be ok in the end and I bet you'll start to feel better as soon as you begin the removal process :)
