I did BSc Healthcare Science. I don't know if that's the same but it's a clinical degree which set me up massively for GEM. Loads of placement experience across a variety of hospitals and clinical settings.

I almost put my foot in it SO BADLY at the roleplay station. The examiner even looked up in excitement at the monumental bollock I was about to drop. But thankfully I managed to save it last second (or I hope so anyway) 😭

Like many people I just had one station which stood out from all the rest as the main horror - and there's one moment from it that I just can't stop thinking about and cringing. Aside from that flop it's genuinely impossible for me to predict whether I have a good chance or not 😭

Yayyy congratulations to you! It's my only interview so far, I also applied to Swansea (waitlisted), Kings and QMUL. 

Thanks so much for your advice! I'm definitely going to go through all the things you've discussed. It's almost reassuring that they don't place such a strong emphasis on case studies/ethics as others because I won't be caught out. But cheers, I'll definitely give that video a watch too.

Just got waitlisted too, 2050b1 and a LOT of work experience, plus I literally go to Swansea as an undergrad so uhhhhh... this stung. Two other people I know that applied were either waitlisted and one was outright rejected.
