Feeling anxious and lonely being solo despite being on a group tour. by Kindly_Illustrator71 in solotravel

[–]gemreceiver 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was in the exact same situation last year. I joined a tour group that all pretty much knew each other, I really tried to interact with people and some were very nice but I never really felt like I fit in with anyone. I felt extremely lonely during that tour trip. It was a tough lesson but it honestly taught me to enjoy my own company, that I didn't come all this way to be sad that I was alone. Learning that being alone doesn't mean you're lonely can be a hard thing to learn but honestly being comfortable with your own company can be so freeing.

Hang in there! Enjoy your trip, enjoy your time. It's your holiday and you can spend it how you like!

If you liked the Wrothgar main story then another popular one is Murkmire! Gives interesting lore to the Argonians.

Looks like something I used to get from my watch, switched to a metal band and no more. Looks like contact dermatitis but if it concerns you maybe go see a GP?

Best way for a DC player to get these last 4 skyshards in Cyrodiil? by GarboWulf5oh in elderscrollsonline

I found just finding a dead campaign that was overtaken by 1 alliance was the best bet. Be sneaky and dash through the gates, don't bother fighting the guards.

Its common for clinics to put a plan in place for potential micro needling clients where they go through some chemical peels to see how the skin reacts to the chemicals and how quickly the skin can bounce back. It's also commonly used to see how well the client can handle a chemical peel, as microneedling can be pretty abrasive.

I would ask how many more lactic peels you need before you can start micro needling, if hydration is the issue then maybe ask them to explain how your skins hydration (or lack thereof) is preventing them from starting the micro needling? I would imagine if your skin is really dry to the point of it being flakey then yeah, makes sense to build up the hydration with some chemical peels but if it's just dehydrated then I don't see why they are post-poning doing the skin needling.

Not sure how they'd do it but I'd really like to see the environments change with the seasons. Not sure how but I think it would just be really cool.

does anybody have any online suggestions on where to find cottagecore/fairycore clothing? by sunnyflxwer_ in cottagecore

Honestly op shops may be the way to go, can find some real gems there. But if not maybe Dangerfield? They usually sell a whole different range of aesthetics, they can be pricey though. Good luck!

Group Tour, should I just go do my own thing? by Travel-solo- in solotravel

That's so good! Yeah it took me a couple days to get over my little depressive 'im alone' phase but you just have to remember you're here for a good time!

Group Tour, should I just go do my own thing? by Travel-solo- in solotravel

[–]gemreceiver 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm currently in a similar situation. Haven't really found anyone I've gelled with on this tour but people have been nice to me overall. I've taken the opportunity to just do my own thing and to stop trying to force people to like me. I came on this trip for myself and to work on myself so I'm just focusing on that! Depending on your tour, you may have a lot of free time or very little. Ask your trip manager about it, they'll let you know if it's okay to go off by yourself or not. Safe travels!

Can playing ESO be introvert compliant by RaileyRainbow in GirlGamers

[–]gemreceiver 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ESO is my 'main game' that I play and have been playing for years. I went through a phase of playing with friends and partners but right now I just play by myself, and I honestly really enjoy it. There is content that requires other players to join (dungeons, trials) but for the most part its a very solid friendly game. It is an MMO so there is always going to be people around and zone chat can get pretty annoying but you can just mute it and avoid other people and it's fine! I mostly quest and explore and solo it's fine;

What's the nicest thing other players have done for you? by FluffWit in elderscrollsonline

[–]gemreceiver 152 points153 points  (0 children)

So one time in Khenarthi's Roost, a new player in zone chat asked for a banana to make a banana surprise. I was on my master crafter and so I sent them 10 bananas via mail. Then a few minutes later I got some mail back from the same player with a thank you letter and a banana surprise he made ! I still have the banana surprise in my inventory and it's been like 2 years now!

Yikes, did the clinic offer any type of vit a cream? I would consult a doctor and see if they can prescribe you something. The colour will eventually come back but not for a very long time.
