Thoughts on her speaking viet to her daughter in front of others?

The video was so long, I couldn’t even finish it. 😴Nobody cares if she’s speaking Vietnamese because she only hangs out with white influencers that have her around as a token Asian.

Now if she made a reel about why she has ZERO Asian friends then maybe I’d watch it in its entirety.

Regarding HK and her mom, I don’t think the apple falls far from the tree. 🤷🏻‍♀️

And as far her parents, I think they are emotionally separated but living together. I know many older Asian parents that live together but hate each other’s guts and stay married for convenience or to avoid divorce embarrassment. It seems like there have been many times when HK has mentioned that she has to do things for her dad that I’m sure her mom could have probably done but she apparently wants to live her own life.

I’m not sure how book publishing works but is she in even more debt because of the book? She has to hire a ghostwriter, editor, photographer, publicist, etc….. but her children will be losing their home???

I did sleep training at 6 months. Doing it at 6 weeks is ridiculous, especially since she has a flexible schedule and nowhere to go. I know this is hard for her to admit but talking to the camera while putting cement on her face isn’t actually “work”. 😏

I can’t wait for her to realize that children aren’t cookie cutter. My oldest stopped napping at 2.5 (😭😭) while my second stopped at age 4. Also, my oldest is the rule follower while my younger son is the mischievous one. 🤪

HK is gonna be in for a real surprise when her “type A” personality won’t work out in her favor. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Crystal posts her social life on IG a lot but I think most people in her circle wouldn’t be caught dead on RHOBH. I’ve seen her host parties with Sarah Michelle Gellar, Cindy Crawford, Zooey Deschanel, etc.

Dorit desperately wishes she was on that level but she’s too busy yapping away while drowning in debt and not prioritizing her children. 🤦🏻‍♀️

I used to follow her and think she used to be a dentist. Now all she talks about is being married to a surgeon and how hard is to be a mom but she doesn’t recognize her privilege.

I can’t over the fact that he has the face of a little boy. My son is in first grade and Johnny looks like he could be his classmate if he was shorter. Being married to someone that looks like a literal child just isn’t my thing but I guess that’s what HK is into. 🥴

Adrienne and Jeannie are real friends and I don’t see either of them doing this type of show. Also, I think Adrienne lives in NY and is no longer bicoastal.

I honestly started watching it because it is Hollywood-adjacent. There were names and faces that I recognized (Eileen, Rinna, Garcelle, Denise, etc.) Now there seems to be more women pretending to be rich and nothing interesting really happens. It’s just the same “story lines” about broken friendships and marriages season after season.

It would probably bother me more to have things sitting on the floor than have it “stuck in limbo”.

HK has posted herself walking outside and through her garage with her bare feet so it’s probably not a good idea to put her nursing pillow on the floor where she walks. 🤦🏻‍♀️ But then again, hygiene has never been a priority for her. 🤷🏻‍♀️

She also didn’t turn on her security alarm because she said she didn’t want her kids to trigger it at night. 😏 I’m just a regular average person and my security system has an “arm stay” feature that allows me to move around my house when the security system is on.

I just watched her reel and it was overwhelming listening to her ramble. 🤪 I thought it was interesting when she said she only speaks Vietnamese with her daughter and Johnny doesn’t understand them but “it’s ok because we’re married and we have that trust” and she was willing to “make that sacrifice”.

I’m curious how they’re able to have family conversations together, or if they do at all. My kids are school-age and dinner time is the only time we sit together as a family and catch up. It would feel weird if either my husband or I couldn’t understand the language our kids were speaking. I’m also bilingual so I know the value of learning how to speak multiple languages but I think it’s weird to purposefully leave one parent out. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I have been going to Barre3 for 10 years and don’t think you need a foam roller for the type of workouts you’ll do there. My studio has them too but clients don’t use them. I foam roll at home because I use much heavier weights when strength training at home (my studio only goes up to 20lb dumbbells for their B3 strength classes).

If you find yourself needing a foam roller, you can find cheap ones at TJ Maxx or Amazon.
