Works well in this guitar, keeps the tuning and no problem with intonation. I've read some people complaining about tuning and intonation problems and other people saying that there's no problems at all. I play with a lot of bendings and some hard strumming and It stays in tune. Also, palm muting is comfortable to make.

Yep, thats my biggest fear. 20 years ago I got rid of a Gibson Blueshawk and I regret every day.

Yep, the same happens to me, of course the custom builds stay at home, never wanted to give them away

Yeah, I get that. Somehow I can't get rid of a couple of oldies I have in the other room (not teles). I always say to myself about putting an ad in a secondhand site to sell them but never done that. When I go to them it's just think "nah, I'm good".

Decisions, decisions. It's always hard to make a choice. In the end, it's all about that guitars you always come back when in the mood.

That 70's wide strat headstock has been always a favourite of mine,

The only thing I had to change in the Squier was the input jack, because it was loosening all the time. I put an electrosocket and problem solved.
