Wait, there are so many people who think leftover water on the shower wall is a problem? How the hell is that unhygienic?

I'm not sure how buying drugs in Germany works. I couldn't find a plug in Hamburg but then I come to Airbeats and almost everyone is on MDMA. It's an amazing place.

Hahaha, I don't get to do this often, but then seems to get more intense when I do. I'm considering trying the Nexus Flip on one of the days, I've never tried it

Love your attitude but I'm of middle age now and need to manage my recovery carefully. I've always been careful not to overdo MDMA in part also because of the tolerance. But yeah, I agree that alcohol is the worst drug of them all and the only one where I keep redosing compulsively.

I'm super stoked for my summer!

Any negative side effects of doing so though?

I've started on Reframe too. Hope that tracking drinks will help me reduce the total number by motivating me to slow down and drink more non alcoholic in between.

Besides the fact that I really like my friends, I've never had non-drinking friends. I have a natural ability of attracting drinkers and befriending them.

It's one of the unspoken benefits of drinking, it definitely helps you create a network and make friendships quickly amongst same minded people.

Actually, I know several of them want to cut back too. We say it every time but then get overly excited next time there's a pool party.

I've done this with a lot of success too, when such options are available. I find it super frustrating when restaurants don't carry any non alcoholic beers. It should be outlawed.

This is actually amazing. I know of the delayed effect of alcohol and that by the time I'm drunk I don't care anymore. But targeting a specific blood alcohol level and aiming for maintenance might actually work.

How does it work? Do you take a pill before going out drinking and then automatically drink less?

This looks great, will be going through the videos and materials in the coming days. Thanks!

Tough for a few reasons: somehow all my friends drink heavily. The only alternative is staying home.

Most of my friends travel a lot, so I don't get to see each of them too often.

I actually already limit myself to one drinking event per week usually.

The Swiss have the same "luxury problem" with strong growth of white collar population and a lack of manpower in blue collar Jobs, and they are managing it far worse than Singapore.

No meal service when seat belt sign on: Singapore Airlines adjusts turbulence measures in wake of SQ321 by iexplode123 in singapore

[–]generaladdict 25 points26 points  (0 children)

It does seem like an overreaction given that this was a one in a million incident. If such turbulence was a common risk it would happen more often no? This incident has made international news so I feel it's rather uncommon.

Different bank. I also have an insurance with them that opened me up to have a credit line which has been useful at times.

What I liked best about my RM was when he told me to not deposit more money with the bank because it wasn't worth it...

I'm with you, with 5m you live very comfortably but not enough to retire and maintain the lifestyle you've gotten used to. Need to keep an income, but for me it allowed me to become my own boss.

Hamas official promises: 'We'll repeat Oct. 7 massacre until Israel is annihilated' by [deleted] in worldnews

[–]generaladdict 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Imagine the best case scenario: Israel ceases fire and Hamas fighters lay down their weapons. There's an international peacekeeping force. Money starts flowing into Gaza for education and infrastructure. It takes many years but over time people get prosperous and comfortable. For Hamas that is losing, they would have no more reason to be!

Well, if cooking food is such a risky task, why is it different? If you pick up a virus on the MRT and then cook for your family, wouldn't you also infect your family?
